Overview
“Slow travel for curious souls.”
Wanderlane is a concept landing page for an independent travel creator who writes one long-form story every Sunday. The goal was to make a newsletter signup feel like an invitation, not a pop-up, while still showing the breadth of six years on the road.
Design direction
Sun-baked sand and terracotta set the mood, with a soft serif headline for a literary voice. One large landscape photo carries the emotion, and small floating cards (countries visited, latest story) add proof without clutter. A row of destination cards runs off the bottom edge to invite scrolling.
The problem
Six years of stories lived across three platforms and an inbox. Nothing linked, nothing ranked, and new readers had no obvious place to land or reason to stay.
What we did
One address that holds the archive, the newsletter and the booking enquiries. Signup sits in the first screen without a popup, and destination cards give returning readers a reason to browse past the fold.
