Overview
“Portrait & editorial photography.”
A concept portfolio for a portrait and editorial photographer. The brief was to let the images lead, give the name real presence, and make booking status visible at a glance.
Design direction
Pure black, a delicate high-contrast display face at huge scale, and small uppercase navigation. The work sits in an asymmetric grid with numbered captions like a printed exhibition. A glowing 'booking' dot is the only colour in the interface.
The problem
A portfolio that explains itself competes with the pictures. Booking status was buried in a contact page nobody reached.
What we did
Interface reduced to name, navigation and availability. The grid is asymmetric so images set their own pace, and the booking state is legible from any screen.
